Message from the Property Owner
Dear Tenant:
The “Move-in Inspection Form” provides you with the opportunity to inspect your new apartment for maintenance problems. More importantly, it allows you to document items that were damaged prior to your move-in either by a previous tenant or by old age. By documenting these items and returning this form within a week of your move-in, you release yourself from liability for any damage. When you move out, we will consult the move-in inspection and determine any deductions from your security deposit.
The “Move-in Inspection Form” must be signed and returned to the office within one week of your move-in date. If we do not receive this form within one week, we will assume that upon accepting the property you found it to be in excellent condition. From this time on, the current tenant(s) will be liable for damages, repairs, and cleaning during the tenancy or upon termination of the lease.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience during the move-in procedure. It is our intent to get every new resident settled as quickly as possible.
Thank you and enjoy your stay,
Guy Philips
